Intentions

The idea for creating a blog for the Authentic Movement community came from a desire to continue the legacy which "A Moving Journal" has forged over the past 13 years. AMJ has connected us as a community on a global level by providing the place sharing thoughts, articles, art, personal writing, poetry, interviews, images, posting announcements, ads, etc. Thanks to the creation of the AM Community website, and now this blog, a new version of that format is again possible.

It is our hope that, together as a community, we will create a strong and respectful container to hold rich and diverse conversations, differing perspectives, feelings, interests, concerns and commentary on Authentic Movement.

This blog aims to provide a forum for interactive conversation, open to everyone with access to the website, unedited but monitored, to ensure that only postings related to Authentic Movement appear.

The Journal of Authentic Movement and Somatic Inquiry provides a site for longer or more formal presentations, which are formally edited.

We’d like to know your thoughts and wishes as to how the blog might serve you and our community.
